It's been quite the eventful year for us here at the MacLachlan household. New car, new home, new job, and most importantly new baby. We wish everyone a happy and healthy 2008!
What an eventful first Christmas Riley had! After getting grounded in KC due to fog we decided to make the 12 hour drive to Michigan without the majority of our luggage (which sat in Milwaukee for 3 days). Once in MI Riley got to meet lots of her MacLachlan family and relax for a bit before making the long trek home. Here are some of our favorite pics:

At the airport (for 4 1/2 hours) before we learned we wouldn't be able to fly out.
Riley watching The Weather Channel to see what's in store for us.

Riley snoozin' with her friends during our drive home. She was such a good girl!
Riley had her first big round of shots yesterday and Mommy was definitely more traumatized than she was. She was extra cranky last night, but woke up this morning just as happy as ever. Here are some pictures of our "big" girl (she's now up to 10 lbs. 6 oz.):
We can't believe that Riley is already 8 weeks old! Her big two month check-up is tomorrow...yikes! We'll update everyone on her new stats later this week, but in the meantime we thought you would enjoy this special onesie that Brad created for Riley.
We'll try to get a video of Riley doing her chomping bit
What a week! We managed to survive our first Kansas ice storm and got to introduce Riley to her Nashville family. Here are a few of our favorite shots:
Brad, Riley and I were fortunate enough to have most of my family (Lizzie couldn't make it back from London) visit us for Thanksgiving. Riley had so much fun hanging out with everyone. Here is a link to my mom's webshots album from the trip: http://community.webshots.com/album/561581230JuEeuR
Please be warned that there are a TON of photos. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season so far!
